Frequently Asked Questions

Where is CFC located?

CFC has satellite locations throughout the Greater Houston Area including Kingwood, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Cy-Fair. Our Intake Coordinator will be able to help determine which of our many locations is best for you.

Do you offer free services?

CFC is a self-supporting, non-profit organization that does not offer free or low-fee services. However, our counseling fees are consistent with community standards. Our therapists have the freedom to discuss adjusting the fee to meet your needs. We accept most insurance plans and will discuss other payment possibilities with you.

What types of issues do CFC therapists address?

Our therapists are equipped and experienced in dealing with a wide variety of issues. We work with individuals, couples, and families. We have therapists willing to work with adults, teens, or children. We frequently help people dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, stress, anger management, divorce recovery, grief, and spiritual growth.

What other services do you offer?

Most of our therapists are skilled and experienced seminar presenters. We look forward to any opportunity to speak with community groups, private organizations, or churches on a variety of topics. Additionally, CFC provides organizational consultation, leadership training, and pre-marital counseling.

How do I make an appointment?

Simply call our main number at 713-263-0829. Our Intake Coordinator will assist you in finding the therapist best suited for your needs by going through a short intake process. The therapist will return your phone call. The initial phone call is a free consultation phone call where you will be able to discuss your needs, find out the fee for services, answer any other questions you may have, and set up an appointment that fits into your schedule.

Do you offer weekend and/or evening appointments?

All of our therapists work by an “appointment only” schedule. They keep their own appointment records and will discuss available options with you during the initial free consultation phone call.
